Steady? Go!” This phrase became the beginning of an intellectual game “Hundred vs 1 “Sochi 2014” which took place at Pushkin’s library on October 27th. The organizers were the Volunteer Center of Omsk State Transport University and Omsk Regional Scientific Libarary named after Alexander Pushkin.
“The main goal of this event was to get all the volunteers who will represent Omsk in Sochi in 2014 acquainted with each other. It would help them become one united team before the Games start. The form of intellectual game fits this goal the best” – said the manager of this project Alexey Manukalov.
“Hundred vs 1” hasn’t been held in such a scale in Omsk so far. 8 teams comprising the students from all universities of Omsk became the participants of this game. They all were eagerly fighting for the win trying to find the answers to tricky questions prepared by organizers. Students from the team “Olympus” have appeared the most sharp-minded and got a deserved win.
“Although we won, I can’t say that everything went as smooth as we had planned. The final game was especially hard because the runner-ups were a very competitive team. Apparently, Olympians managed to call more luck on their side” – shared his feelings “Olympus” captain Cheslav Vaskovskiy.
In the end all teams were awarded memorable prizes provided by the sponsors of this event: “Interantenna Ltd.”, café “Prestige”, paintball club “Chapaev” and fitness club “Africa”.
“Hundred vs 1” tournament is another intellectual game made by the Voluteer Center of Omsk State Transport University which will stand as tall as already approved by our students “Crocodile”, “Minirogeyn” and “Brain-ring”.
